We, Jun 1 Customer: Who Cares? – Theory and Reality of the Customer Value Proposition Thinking about “Value,” Peter Drucker wrote: “What the business thinks it produces is not of first importance, what the customer thinks he is buying, what he considers value, is decisive. And what the customer buys and considers value, is never a product. It is always utility, that is what a product does for him.” As competition increases within markets, the challenge of creating a customer value proposition that distinguishes you in the eyes of the customer becomes much more difficult! To do this you need to start simplifying complexity.

Less talk, more action: timid Asia needs to be decisive in the battle against inflation Vietnam is a cautionary tale among developing economies. It exudes potential and its natural resources, demographics and low-cost labour are attracting the world’s attention. And yet Vietnam has too much of a good thing on its hands: too much money chasing too few stable investments.
Vietnam to get new state-of-the-art S&T university, helped by loans from the ADB and France Along with funding physical facilities to accommodate an initial 5,000 students, the project will develop modern governance and management systems and capacity-build senior staff. It will also establish centers to promote high quality, relevant academic programs, research, and links to industry groups in the private sector. These features will provide a model that can be replicated at other local universities in the future.
Personal Safety in HCM City Over the last several months, there have been reported and verified instances of pick-pocketing, bag snatches, and residential break-ins targeting the expatriate community. Vietnam Competitiveness Report, 2010 – Michael Porter, et. al. Vietnam’s growth since the mid-1980s has been driven by transition and structural change. More recently, the policy response mainly focuses on intensifying investment, especially in SOEs and infrastructure, to generate growth rather than on upgrading productivity and efficiency. But the economic logic behind this growth model ultimately has limited potential.
