Chris Harvey, Managing Director, www.vietnamworks.com will provide an overview of internet trends in Vietnam. About Chris HarveyChris is definitely someone who knows about converting clicks and eyeballs into Dollars and Cents, with significant experience in both the USA and in Vietnam, and we are pleased to have him as a speaker. Chris has worked exclusively with consumer-oriented Internet businesses such as AOL, Yahoo! and LendingTree since 1999. Prior to joining VietnamWorks, Chris helped lead the effort to transform AOL’s Web-based offerings to compete more effectively with Yahoo! and other Internet portals and increase AOL’s share of the Internet advertising market. He played a central role in the design of the features, functionality and look of the new AOL.com. At Yahoo!, Chris negotiated strategic partnerships, structured advertising relationships and helped lead product strategy for Yahoo! Mail and Messenger, two of Yahoo!’s most highly trafficked products. He led the deeper integration of the anti-virus security feature into Yahoo! Mail and was responsible for the conception, design and launch of the Webcam feature of Yahoo! Messenger. Prior to Yahoo!, Chris negotiated, executed and managed distribution relationships at LendingTree, an online marketplace for mortgages and auto loans in the United States. Before attending business school, Chris worked as a financial analyst at a private real estate investment firm in Washington, DC.
