On October 26th, Manufacturing Committee is going to organise a morning briefing to provide fundamental knowledge on Blockchain technology, how it works, its current situation, potential areas of use, future prospects and how it becomes one of the world’s innovation drivers. Our speaker will also give an overview of Blockchain Law.

As joining to Infinity BlockchainLabs from last two years with Fintech Director, then President Office Director, and now is Regional Chief Strategy Officer, he work mainly on business development, build business strategy, expand blockchaintechnology knowledge to community, and connect IBL to most Vietnam business partners and biggest Universities/Institutes along Vietnam on blockchaineducation. Those are must steps to make IBL become one of the leading R&D Blockchainfirm in Vietnam and Region, and then support Vietnam become the BlockchainCountry in near future. |

Duane Morris Vietnam LLC Manfred Otto is a New York lawyer helping clients with blockchain, fintech and regtech matters across multiple jurisdictions, including corporate, finance and securities law, AML/KYC regulations, data protection law, and intellectual property transactions as well as related dispute resolution. Having designed web pages in the 1990s then working for Sony and others in Japan in hardware and software development, Manfred is a lawyer with hands-on technology experience. He is currently collaborating with a major blockchain R&D company to advocate for a regulatory sandbox and a legal framework for cryptocurrencies in Vietnam. Regulators and others stakeholders in Southeast Asia frequently invite Manfred to speak on international blockchain law. The Legal 500 recommends Manfred as one of the few Next Generation Lawyers for Corporate and M&A in its 2018 Asia Pacific guide. He has lived in Asia for more than 15 years and worked in New York, London and Tokyo. Otto is fluent in English, German and Japanese. |
