Event Description

Big and successful companies, with plenty of resources at their end, have recently set the trend for being committed to sustainable development by engaging their employees’ skills in community activities as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).  Nurturing a strong corporate culture which emphasizes social impact values and competencies will not only serve as a “good cause” to benefit the community at large, but is strategically used in improving the employee retention and development as well as corporate’s branding.

Join us at the upcoming breakfast meeting of the HR Committee where we host a panel of experts to discuss this awaking and trendy topic “Corporate Social Responsibility  as a Human Resource Management Strategy”. We are very delighted to welcome Ms. Dana Doan, Founder of the LIN Center for Community Development, who will share about tools and resources as well as lessons learned from over six years of matching companies and business professionals with volunteer opportunities in HCMC. Joining Ms. Dana will be representatives from other major multinational companies to share their companies’ real life experience of conducting corporate volunteer program as a part of CSR activities, issues and benefits that corporate community engagement has brought in to the company.
