Event Description

In response to a number of AmCham companies, AmCham has arranged this workshop to provide an update on U.S. visitor visa application procedures, visa renewal procedures, and procedures for group visits (incentive tours, etc.).

Information about U.S. Visas from the U.S. Consulate General

Mr. Greg Rankin is the Non-Immigrant Visa (NIV) Section Chief at the U.S. Consulate General in HCM City. The NIV Section processes the visa applications of Vietnamese and third-country nationals seeking to travel to the U.S. temporarily for business, pleasure, study, or work.

Visa Renewal Procedures

You may now qualify to renew your visa by mail if your prior visa expired no more than 12 months ago, and you meet all the other requirements for renewal without interview.  For more information and step-by-step instructions, please click here.

Please note that to renew an E,H, L, P, or R visas, the prior visa must still be valid or must have expired no more than 12 months ago.
