Mr. Rick Yvanovich FCMA CGMA FCPA MSc., Founder and CEO, TRG International
Rick is a Chartered Management Accountant with 30 years of diverse experiences including Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Retail, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Property development, Defense Manufacturing, Manufacturing, Breweries, FMCG, High Technology, and the Accounting profession. He has been living in Vietnam since May 1990. A consultant and serial entrepreneur he has been directly involved in hundreds of client engagements in 39 countries and founded several companies including TRG International. Rick is Chairman and a Board Member of the South East Asia Regional Board for CIMA, Chairman of the AMCHAM HCMC ICT group, Chairman of the Eurocham IT Sector Committee and Treasurer and Board Member of BBGV.
Seck Yee Chung leads the Firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions, IT/C and Pharma &Healthcare practices in Vietnam. He is highly regarded in his field – Chambers Global, Chambers Asia and Asia Pacific Legal 500 rank him as a leading lawyer in the field of Corporate/M&A and TMT.
Having lived and worked in Vietnam since 1999, Chung has been involved in significant cross-border M&A and IT/C deals and transactions in Vietnam and the Asia Pacific region. He is known to deliver sound and pragmatic advice on corporate and regulatory compliance matters, particularly on foreign investment, licensing, market access under WTO, private and public M&A, securities, competition and anti-corruption compliance, commercial promotions and marketing, data use and privacy, over a diverse range of industries, from IT/C, media, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and healthcare, to consumer products, agriculture, food & beverage, manufacturing, property, and aviation.
He is a member of the Law Society of Singapore and serves as Vice President of the Singapore Business Group, Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nathan Lane, Economic Officer, U.S. Consulate General, Ho Chi Minh City
Nathan Lane heads the Economic Section at the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. Prior to Vietnamese training, he served as Special Assistant to Under Secretary Robert Hormats. Previous assignments include the Office of Multilateral Trade Affairs, Minsk, the Operations Center, Moscow and Monterrey. He holds an M.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a B.A. from the University of Nebraska.
Minh is the director of communications at Vertex Ventures, one of the largest venture capital funds in Singapore, with over $1.3 billion assets-under-management. He has strong interests and multiple projects, including angel networks and conferences, in developing the startup ecosystems in Vietnam and Singapore and connecting these ecosystems with the Silicon Valley, where he is originally from. In the next two years, it is his goal to build a startup network and series of projects that unite companies, investors, and individuals across Tel Aviv, Silicon Valley, Singapore, and Vietnam. He was formerly managing editor for Tech In Asia, in Vietnam, and keeps a keen eye on Vietnam’s tech startup ecosystem.
Mr. Rachan Reddy, General Partner, IDG Ventures Vietnam.
Along with the other Partners of IDG Ventures Vietnam, he participates in the investment and management decisions of the fund and its portfolio companies, specifically investments within the technology, media, telecommunications and biotechnology sectors. Rachan led the investment of Rubicon Project (NYSE: RUBI) and served on the Board of VNG (formerly VinaGame). He currently serves on the Board of Management for several companies including YAN Group, Pyramid Consulting and HotDeal.vn. He is based in Ho Chi Minh City and also serves on the Corporate Advisory Board for UNICEF Vietnam as well as serving as a Director for Tan Khoa Distribution Corporation and IFB Holdings Limited.
Before joining IDG Ventures, Rachan was a Founding Partner and President of VITC, a US-based technology company specializing in corporate and retail data network services. He was responsible for establishing and managing the company’s global network and retail operations which became the largest private data services provider in Indochina. Prior to his experience in Asia, he worked as a project consultant and was involved with the establishment of S2S Medical Publishing. He was also involved in biomedical research at Northwestern University, UCLA and UCSD. Rachan graduated summa cum laude from UCLA, where he received a BS in Cybernetics/ Systems Engineering. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. After UCLA, Rachan earned his MD degree from Northwestern University Medical School, Chicago, Illinois.

Eddie Thai is a venture partner with 500 Startups, the world’s most active seed stage venture capital fund based in Silicon Valley. He is focused on supporting Vietnam’s next great tech startups, as well as helping develop 500 Startups’ offerings in corporate innovation and startup ecosystem development. His efforts have been covered by Bloomberg, BBC, the Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, and various regional outlets. In 2015 he was recognized as one of Forbes Vietnam’s 30 Under 30, and in 2016 he was selected as 1 of 50 Global Shapers to attend the World Economic Forum’s flagship conference in Davos. He received degrees from Harvard University and Yale University, and serves on the global Board of Directors of the Harvard Alumni Association.
