Vietnam’s labor laws tend to be employee-friendly and formalistic, which can make discipline and dismissals of emloyees a very difficult process – even in cases of corruption or criminal conduct. As a counter-balance to this situation, it is vital for companies to have well-drafted internal labor rules and a solid understanding of employee disciplinary procedures.
Join us and hear labor experts from Tilleke & Gibbins share from their experience about the following topics:
- 1. Common issues in drafting internal labor regulations (ILRs)
- 2. ILR registration process
- 3. How to conduct internal disciplinary hearings
- 4. Preview of key proposed changes contained in the latest draft of the new Labor Code
