EB-5 is a United States immigration program that offers citizens of other countries permanent U.S. residency through job creation in the United States. The program offers a number of benefits for qualified subscribers including, but not limited to, the freedom to live, attend school, work and/or retire anywhere in the United States.
On 30 September 2015, the EB-5 Regional Center Program is scheduled to be enhanced, and the anticipated changes are proposed to improve regulatory oversight, transparency and efficiency within the industry. How might these changes affect the future of the EB-5 Program in Vietnam for those considering U.S. immigration?
This panel will discuss the United States’ EB-5 Program and its advantages for qualified subscribers, answer questions on the U.S. education system, discuss the importance of the EB-5 Program to the United States economy and speak about the future of EB-5 in Vietnam.
EB-5 là một chương trình đầu tư định cư Hoa Kỳ, cho phép những doanh nhân nước ngoài đầu tư vào một doanh nghiệp để có được thẻ xanh và trở thành thường trú nhân của Mỹ thông qua tạo việc làm cho công dân nước này. Chương trình cung cấp một số lợi ích cho các nhà đầu tư như được tự do sinh sống tại Mỹ, học và làm việc hoặc nghỉ hưu bất cứ nơi nào trên đất Mỹ.
Ngày 30 Tháng 9 năm 2015, Chương trình EB-5 được dự kiến sẽ có thay đổi, những thay đổi này dự kiến với mục đích cải thiện và giám sát quản lý, minh bạch và hiệu quả trong ngành công nghiệp nước Mỹ. Những thay đổi này sẽ tác động như thế nào đến việc đầu tư định cư của thị trường EB-5 tại Việt Nam trong tương lai bời Sở Di Trú Hoa Kỳ?

Mr. Aymeric Ralph Henri Fraise, Managing Director – Investment Department, Asia, Related
Mr. Aymeric Fraise oversees Related’s EB-5 activity in Asia and manages Hudson Yards’ Shanghai office. A resident of Shanghai since 1997, Aymeric started his real estate career with Hines China before joining Related in 2008 to oversee the day-to-day acquisitions and development process for Related in China. Prior to Hines, Aymeric founded and sold three Shanghai-based companies, one of which was a restaurant chain that started his love for real estate. Aymeric is fluent in French and Mandarin Chinese. He holds two BAs from Stanford University (Economics & History, and 4 years of Mandarin study) as well as an MBA from Stanford Business School, with a focus on Global Management.
Mr. James Ross Cormie, Director – Investment Department, Asia, Related
Mr. James Cormie, Esq., is responsible for investor relations and marketing in Asia. A resident of Shanghai since 2012, James started as an associate attorney specializing in business immigration with Greenberg-Traurig before joining Related in 2013. Prior to Greenberg-Traurig, James worked for a non-profit that promotes access to medicine. James is proficient in Mandarin Chinese. He holds a BA in Philosophy from the University of Arizona and a JD from Boston University. He is a licensed attorney in New York, Massachusetts, D.C., and New Jersey.
Mr. Stephen Carleton, Director of Student Recruitment – University Bridge
Mr. Stephen Carleton is the Director of Student Recruitment at University Bridge, where he helps students realize their dream of graduating from some of the most prestigious universities in America. In an international education career spanning more than 15 years, Stephen has worked in a variety of roles taking in both public and private sector, including acting as a UK government advisor tasked with helping students gain admission to Oxford and Cambridge Universities; and developing a Higher Education guidance program which has been widely used in international schools across China. Prior to working for University Bridge, Stephen worked for Cambridge Education Group where he helped 1000s of students gain admission to some of the best universities in the US, UK, and Europe.
