Networking • AmCham Events and AmCham Online

AmCham provides members with opportunities for networking, information-sharing, and problem solving (advocacy and activities to improve the business environment). Committees, informal working groups and around 100 business networking and informational events a year help you get involved, stay informed and connected. You can network both through AmCham Events and AmCham Online.

AmCham Events • As a participant, keep informed  AmCham events offer many networking and learning opportunities. From casual networking sessions to events with government officials or other thought leaders sharing information, and visiting business missions, there are ample opportunities to make valuable business contacts with government officials, industry leaders, professionals, and business partners by participating in AmCham business and social activities. Even the busiest executives can find ways to expand their networks.

AmCham Events • As a speaker, promote your products and services The AmCham Event Team will organize your informational/presentation event, include an event description on the AmCham web site Events page, and brief summary in the Weekly Update Emails (which is also sent to AmCham’s twitter, facebook, and LinkedIn social networks as mentioned below). We manage the registrations, welcome guests at the event site, provide an AmCham representative to give the welcome/introduction remarks, and upload your promotional/informational presentation to the AmCham web site for additional outreach and marketing both to the participants and to those that couldn’t be present.

AmCham Online • Announcements on the AmCham Web Site Every month, over 260,000+ visitors, 370,000+ page-views. It’s a great place for business networking, the online hub of about 1,000 representatives of nearly 500 companies (including both expatriate and local managers in HCM City). It is also a key resource for non-members in the USA with interests in business in Vietnam, who are looking for information about products and services from Vietnam.

AmCham Online • Weekly Update Emails Keep up to date with news about AmCham, business news about AmCham companies, upcoming events and key news items concerning trade and investment.

AmCham Online • Announcements in Weekly Update Emails Every Monday, AmCham’s Weekly Update email goes out to about 1,000 representatives of nearly 500 AmCham companies, plus over 3,000 additional subscribers in Vietnam, Asia-Pacific countries, and the USA. It is also re-sent to AmCham’s 3,200+ twitter followers, 2,000+ facebook fans, and 1,000+ LinkedIn connections. We welcome announcements that are of interest to members and associates and offer a service to include such announcements in the Weekly Update email. Conditions are similar to those for Networking Online announcements. AmCham companies receive three free announcements in AmCham’s Weekly Update emails per year.
