– If we find any evidence to show that any part of your application is incorrect, we have the right to decline your application and withdraw your award or candidate status within the AmCham Scholarship program. Therefore, be honest with your application.
– Please note that applicants for the AmCham Scholarship can submit once only, so please prepare carefully.

For the Online Application, you will receive instructions on how to upload the following documents:

REQUIRED: a scanned copy of your original GPA Certificate transcript for all previous years. You don’t need to translate your GPA transcript into English. Click HERE for some examples.

OPTIONAL:
– a scanned copy of your English certificate for exemption of English Round – but only if you’ve reached one of these levels:
+ TOEIC: 900 or above
+ TOEFL iBT: 90 or above
+ IELTS: 7.0 or above (with all skills from 6.5)
For exemption, in the Application Form, you should upload your certificate, which must be issued after Oct 08 2014 in case of expiration.
– a scanned copy of your Achievement Certificate.

U.S. imports of apparel from Vietnam continue to surge: up 30% over 2006 and are expected to reach $4.4 billion this year, more than 40% of Vietnam’s total exports to the U.S. of $10.5 billion. Major constraints on Vietnam’s apparel exports to the U.S. are not market access, but infrastructure shortages (lack of deepwater ports) and growing labor problems (shortages of workers, sharply increasing labor costs, and illegal strikes).

Concerns re WTO Commitment on Trading Rights and Distribution Rights Vietnam confirmed in the WTO Working Party Report that ” … from the date of accession, all foreign firms and individuals (including foreign-invested firms) would be able to engage in importation and exportation of producs … and, … would be permitted to sell or otherwise provide the imported product(s) to … firms in Viet Nam that have the right to distribute such product in Viet Nam.”

Project HOPE is partnering with the US Navy in a medical humanitarian mission that will include a visit to Vietnam July 15-25. COO of Project HOPE since Nov 2006, Dr. Fox served 28 years in the US Army in a variety of medical command, staff, and surgical positions.
