Amanda Rasmussen elected Chairwoman of AmCham Ho Chi Minh City in 2019

Amanda Rasmussen has been elected as the new Chairwoman for AmCham Ho Chi Minh City in 2019.

Amanda Rasmussen is the Chief Operating Officer, ITL Corporation, one of the largest logistics and supply chain companies in Vietnam and one of Vietnam’s Top 500 largest Enterprises and Top 50 Trusted Brands. ITL is a leading regional solutions provider of Aviation, Integrated Logistics, Freight Management, Warehousing, Distribution and eCommerce/Last-mile services in Indochina. ITL has 1,700+ employees, headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, with more than 95+ branch offices and distribution centers in Vietnam along with offices in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Singapore and Thailand. Amanda has 20+ years’ experience in logistics, transportation and supply chain management, having held previous roles in DHL, Maersk, Damco and previously running her own logistics and supply chain training and consulting company. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee (BSBA) and Loyola Marymount University (MBA). Amanda has lived and worked in Vietnam since January 2003 and has been an active member of AmCham since arriving in Vietnam. In addition to the AmCham Board of Governors, Amanda is the previous Chair of the Logistics and Supply Chain Sector Committee and serving as the Events Board Liaison.

Amanda Rasmussen shared that “I am honored to be elected as the Chairwoman for AmCham Ho Chi Minh City in 2019 and greatly appreciate the support and trust from my Board of Governor colleagues. 2019 is set to be an exciting year for AmCham in Vietnam and I am equally honored to hold the National Chair position for the Chamber in the coming year. 2019 marks the 25th Anniversary for AmCham’s establishment in Vietnam and it’s an amazing opportunity and I am humbled to be a part of this journey.”

In the AmCham HCMC Board Meeting, the board also elected Michael Beckman (ACSV Legal) and Minh Nguyen (Aetna International) as Vice Chairs, Keith Schulz (Vilube Corporation) as Secretary, Alan Danner (Intel Products Vietnam) as Treasurer. Amanda Rasmussen would also serve as National Chair for AmCham Vietnam in 2019 at Vietnam Business Forum.
