AmCham invites you to join our annual Blood Donor Day 2025—a life-saving tradition that has united our community since 2011. As we embrace this year’s World Blood Donor Day theme, “Give blood, give hope: together we save lives,” your participation becomes more than a donation—it’s a direct lifeline to families facing medical emergencies.
Since 2011, our AmCham community has shown extraordinary compassion. Over 8,400 donors from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces have contributed nearly 10,700 units of blood, helping transform Vietnam’s healthcare landscape. Today, 99% of Vietnam’s blood supply comes from voluntary donors like you, creating a foundation of hope for countless patients.
This year, Vietnam aims to collect 1.85 million blood units to meet growing medical needs. By joining our drive, you’re directly supporting this vital national goal alongside major initiatives like the “Red Journey 2025” campaign.
So join us on August 14 and again on August 22 to donate blood, and bring your colleagues! AmCham is honored to collaborate with the Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital to host this year’s donation drives.
The donation process is safe, professionally managed, and takes less than an hour of your time. Plus, you’ll receive a complimentary health screening as part of your donation experience.

We are sorry that we cannot accept the registration if you are not eligible to become a blood donor according to the above Blood Donation Eligibility Criteria of The Hospital of Blood Transfusion and Hematology - You MUST bring your ID card or passport to the blood donation site.
