Networking opportunities for AmCham company executives/staff with responsibility for CSR, Community Development, Community Relations, etc. to get to know each other through informal networking events
Information-sharing opportunities for these same executives/staff, so that they can share “best practices” in organizing their company CSR/CD/CR activities (for example, how to organize a company tree planting outing);
Community development that is, joining together to organize events and activities to raise awareness of and to address social problems in sectors such as education, environment, health care, etc.
CSR events: AmCham Scholarship Programs, World Blood Donor Day & Community Day
Purpose: To protect, serve and promote the effectiveness of member companies and the independent business people they represent. To ensure that the marketing by member companies of products and/or the direct sales opportunity is conducted with the highest level of business ethics and service to consumers.”
Increase the skills levels of the Vietnamese people so that they are more productive in commercial enterprise, and can sustain higher value manufacturing and services, and therefore command higher salaries;
Increase awareness of U.S. education opportunities, both in the USA and Vietnam.
Purpose: Provide opportunities for networking, internal information activities, and consultations and cooperation with industry associations, governments and international organizations to help improve health and safety in the food & beverage industry sector in Vietnam, as well as in the ASEAN region. A key area of interest for the Committee is to cooperate with other stakeholders in efforts that will help Vietnam’s internationalization and harmonization with the various regional (ASEAN,APEC, TPP) and global systems (WTO SPS, Codex Alimentarius) for food health and safety, to the benefit of Vietnamese farmers, agricultural companies and consumers
Purpose: To use the resources available through American Chamber of Commerce, other international business organizations, and our respective healthcare companies to define and advocate for improvements in the delivery and regulation of healthcare to build an international standard healthcare system in Viet Nam. We believe that financial investment and development through the private, international sector is the best way to achieve this goal and every effort to support this sector must be made.
Purpose: The committee promotes the Hospitality and Tourism interests of both Vietnam and The United States of America by providing both a discussion platform on issues and challenges related to these industries and also via networking opportunities. The committee examines industry trends and standards with a goal of enhancing Vietnam’s overall leisure and business travel experience. We assist in setting standards and helping to improve a competitive advantage over other destinations in South East Asia. The committee offers an extra value for members representing the Hospitality and Tourism businesses that will allow them to fully benefit from their membership in AmCham.

The AmCham Legal & Vietnam Business Forum Committees in HCMC and Hanoi have a unified purpose that includes increasing the value of AmCham membership for all members by providing channels to discuss and address legal issues affecting member companies, supporting the Chamber and the Chapters’ advocacy activities, and supporting the development of the legal services industry in Vietnam.
The purpose of the committee is to increase the value of AmCham membership for logistics and supply chain related members across all industry sectors. The committee aims to provide a forum to network and discuss related industry trends, challenges, opportunities and regulatory matters. The committee will engage cross chapter with other AmCham committees to drive shared interests in the development of local supply chains and supply chain talent in Vietnam.
To increase the value of AmCham membership for its manufacturing sector members, including the supporting supply chain, by providing networking opportunities and collaborative solutions which could not be achieved as effectively by individual member companies
The AmCham Tax Committee represents the views and voice of AmCham member companies on tax-related issues. It strives to contribute regularly to the tax-related topics with its members´ expertise, mainly by commenting on new legislation, analyzing tax issues and providing recommendations through position papers. It’s a new Committee and consists of tax practitioners from businesses, large professional services firms, tax lawyers and tax specialists from industry.
