Donald Lambert
Principal Private Sector Development Specialist
Southeast Asia Department, ADB
Mr. Don Lambert’s current work focuses on promoting the role of the private sector in Viet Nam’s economic development. Previously at ADB, he worked on financial sector development in India and Sri Lanka, served as head of the corporate recovery unit, and was a credit risk management specialist covering ADB’s financial institutions portfolio. Employment prior to ADB included with the US Federal Reserve and as a US Army officer. Mr. Lambert holds a master’s degree from Harvard University, a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, and is a CFA®charterholder.
Cuong Minh Nguyen
Principal Regional Integration Specialist
Southeast Asia Department, ADB
Cuong is responsible for ADB regional cooperation and integration operations within the Greater Mekong Subregion. Prior to joining ADB, he was the head of the WTO Unit in Viet Nam’s Foreign Ministry and was involved in Viet Nam’s negotiations to join the WTO as well as the US-Viet Nam bilateral trade agreement. He also led the Program Coordination Unit of the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, Indonesia.
