Tuyet Trees
Vietnam Country Representative, U.S. Trade and Development Agency
As the Project Coordinator at the U.S. Commercial Service and U.S. Trade and Development Agency in the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi since 2001, Tuyet Trees works with aviation, energy, health, ICT, and the financial-service sector businesses, along with government agencies and associations, to promote American exports to Vietnam. Since 2020, Tuyet fully represents the U.S. Trade and Development Agency in developing their activities in Vietnam.
Prior to working at the U.S. Embassy, Tuyet was the Adviser at the Institute of International Education, an American organization working in education exchange. Tuyet was also a Project Officer at Oxfam Belgium, an organization working to provide small businesses and farmers with new technology and micro-finance management.
Tuyet earned a BA in Physics from University of Hanoi, Vietnam, and completed an MBA, and a Master degree in Information Systems Management, from the University of Pittsburgh in the United States.
