Event Description
Join the AmCham Vietnam ESG Committee for an exclusive half-day field trip to BDIP Premium Industrial Park on Friday, July 11, 2025!
Co-hosted with Frasers Property Vietnam, this trip focuses on “Sustainability in the Industrial Environment: Green Construction Certification and Development.” You’ll gain practical, on-the-ground insights from experts at Frasers Property Vietnam, Green Business Certification, Inc. (USGBCI), and GreenViet – Green Building Consultancy. They will share their approaches, insights, and experience in green building projects in industrial environments.
Attendees will have opportunity to ask questions and network with peers in manufacturing, logistics, real estate, construction, and sustainability.

![]() Managing Director, GREENVIET – Green Building Consultancy Thu Nguyen studied Environmental Engineering at the HCMC University of Polytechnic and later she was trained as an expert on Sustainability / Green Building Services. Qualified through the LEED AP and LOTUS AP certification for accredited professionals, together with 17 years of experience in Sustainability consultancy services, Thu is known as a Vietnamese expert in sustainability field. Focusing on sustainability and increasing building performance, Thu leads the consultancy process on how to obtain the accredited certificate and how to set up design and construction processes under the recognized rating systems (LEED, EDGE, LOTUS, Green Mark, etc.). She instructs, works closely and incorporates with all members (including architect, civil engineer, contractor, landscaping designer, M&E designer, suppliers, etc.) in order to complete the commissioning process, work out the best practice/ green material/efficiency equipment that contribute to Sustainable/Green building, promote occupant’s productivity, comfort and well-being, and seek for the final LEED/ LOTUS Certificate or Green Mark benchmarking. Thu has managed many projects which were awarded LEED, LOTUS, GREEN MARK, WELL and EARTHCHECK Certificate in Vietnam. Besides green buildings and sustainable design-construction, Thu has been certified with a master degree at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). Her knowledge includes environmental protection, social contributions, governance, and other aspects related to sustainable development of companies, businesses, projects; namely climate change, community investment, operating practices, and risk management. |
