Each year, members of the AmCham chapters in Vietnam meet for a casual weekend of networking, policy discussions, food and fun. AmCham’s National Issues Retreat brings together our members and US government representatives – including the Ambassador and Consul General – to discuss the most pressing issues facing our business community in Vietnam.
This year’s retreat takes place October 14-16 in Hoi An and offers a unique opportunity to meet some new friends, sample some great local food, participate in our business roundtable discussion, and more. There are many optional activities to keep you busy, or you can just relax by the ocean or pool.
A quick glance through recent editions of the AmCham e-Journal shows that Vietnam’s economic and business climate faces a number of challenges. Looking forward, what can businesses expect? What new legislation is the government considering? How can you best protect your organization and investment while preparing to profit from future opportunities here? Members are invited to join the leadership from AmCham and the US mission in Vietnam to discuss these important topics in a relaxed environment while enjoying Hoi An.
