Nguyen Duc Tri
Dean of School of Tourism, Business College, UEH University
He started his career in a little production company residing in the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh city as a purchasing staff that gave him a chance to familiarizing with the supply chain system and efficiency management. He later changed his job but remained interested in operational excellence. He came across different subjects in his teaching career in higher education that ended up in strategic management where he particularly focused on organizational knowledge transfer for productivity improvement. His doctorate reading was developed around the concept of knowledge acquisition of partners in international joint ventures. Responsible for a school of tourism, he is active in transforming the entity’s operation into digital orientation. His vision is to proactively capture technologies to enhance the sustainability of business.
