Yoon Young KIM

Yoon Young KIM is the Schneider Electric Cluster President for Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei.
He brings over 20 years of international experience in the Automotive and Lighting sector, across several industry segments throughout South America, Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, Russia, and the Middle East.
In his current role, he maintains his mission to drive the cluster towards further successes in the expansion of both business and manufacturing capability in Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei.
He developed his career through a variety of successful country management assignments and has taken on multiple roles, showing his ability to grow the business as a marketing strategist, inspiring those around him, and delivering results as an excellent implementer of commercial initiatives.
Kim previously served as the Country President for the Vietnam and Cambodia Cluster for four years.
He graduated from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) in Brazil. He has a Master of Business Administration from Wissenschaftliche Hochschule fur Unternehmensfuhung (WHU) in Germany.
Kim was born in Korea, raised in Brazil and is currently based in Singapore. He is married with a daughter.
