Nguyen Thuy Hang is a Partner in Baker McKenzie’s Ho Chi Minh city office. Her practice focuses on Employment and Labor, Compliance and Investigation, Corporate Restructuring and Reorganization, and general M&A. She is one of the few Vietnamese lawyers dually admitted to practice law in New York State and Vietnam. Ms. Nguyen has been assisting in various compliance investigation and advice. During her 13 years with Baker McKenzie, she has worked in the Vietnam, Barcelona and London offices. Ms. Nguyen is a Governor of the Board of Governors of American Chamber of Commerce, Ho Chi Minh City Chapter, and chairs its HR Committee.

Minh is currently leading Advisory practice at Mazars Vietnam. With 15 years of experience in one of the “Big Four“ and Mazars, Minh has a significant amount of professional and commercial experience and now becomes one of the leading Tax advisors in the Vietnamese market, with class leading skills particularly in International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Customs, and Corporate restructuring. His projects include market entry and licensing services, multinational group transaction restructuring, M&A, tax compliance and advisory, transfer pricing review and documentation, and tax audit assistance for clients.

Minh is also Vice Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (Eurocham), where he involves in supporting European companies doing business in Vietnam via various advocacy activities toward Vietnamese Government agencies, and to promote business cooperation between Vietnam and European countries.

Thanks to his contribution in international cross-border engagements, Minh was appointed as a member of the Asia-Pacific Committee of Praxity Alliance, which is one of the largest alliance of accounting firms in the world. He is in charge of global and regional transfer pricing engagements as well as the growth of Praxity firm presence in the APAC region.
