Tanh Tran
Manager, Yuanta Securities
Financial analyst Tanh Tran has been Head of Banks at Yuanta Vietnam since 2018. In addition to his official coverage of seven stocks, Tanh has developed a proprietary CAMEL analytical framework for understanding the fundamental trends among all 28 listed and OTC banks in Vietnam. A native of Gia Lai province, Tanh earned his Master of Finance from Fairfield University. His previous roles include Shinhan Securities in HCMC and Morgan Stanley in New York. Tanh last presented to the Committee on November 7, 2022. We would have all done very well to listen – financial sector stocks have increased by +55% since then (source: Bloomberg). Tanh will discuss recent trends in the industry, including upcoming regulatory changes and where he thinks the sector is heading in the months ahead.
