Farewell Dinner for Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink

AmCham Vietnam would like to invite you to a farewell dinner for Ambassador Daniel Kritenbrink on Monday, April 12th, at the InterContinental Saigon.

Ambassador Kritenbrink has been a close friend and partner of the American business community during his more than three years as U.S. Ambassador in Vietnam. He has worked tirelessly to strengthen U.S.-Vietnam trade and investment ties, and the bilateral comprehensive partnership. In his new role, he will have the opportunity to continue to strengthen U.S. relations with Vietnam, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Please join us for this special event to express our gratitude for all of Ambassador Kritenbrink’s contributions here in Vietnam and to wish him well in his new role at the State Department in Washington, D.C.!

Ambassador Kritenbrink, a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, was confirmed in October 2017 as U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam and arrived in Hanoi in early November, just a few days before the November 2017 APEC Leaders’ Meeting in Da Nang. One of Ambassador Kritenbrink’s very first public events in Vietnam after receiving his credentials was with AmCham in Da Nang, a couple days before President Trump arrived for the CEO Summit. It seemed only fitting that Ambassador Kritenbrink received the official notification of his nomination by President Biden as Assistant Secretary of State for East Asian and Pacific Affairs when he was in Da Nang with many of us for the AmCham National Conference and Networking Weekend March 26-28.
