Event Description
AmCham in collaboration with Port of San Diego (POSD) will organize an invited-only event focused on Green Project Cargo Supply Chain Initiatives.
Our speakers from POSD will give a brief overview of the port, its current operation and new system upgrades. They will also introduce the current green initiatives that are being conducted at the port, highlighting the results from these initiatives.
Target audience: broker/forwarder firms, terminal operators and exporters from Vietnam handling break bulk and heavy lift cargo.
This event is free of charge for AmCham Members only. Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each company can only register one attendee. You can change the company attendee in case of sudden schedule conflict. Reservations/cancellations must be received by 24 hours before the event, and must be made on-line or by email. We are unable to accept reservations/cancellations by telephone. |
Greg Borossay
Principal, Maritime Business Line, Port of San Diego Greg Borossay joined the Port of San Diego in October 2017. He is responsible for the development of the Port’s automotive, bulk, break-bulk, container, project, and carrier cargo accounts. Greg is also responsible for cargo, rail, and truck development for the Port. Since joining the Port of San Diego, Borossay has been involved in the recruitment of G2 Ocean to a regular monthly liner service. At the Port of San Diego, he was the lead for the acquisition of two new all-electric heavy lift cranes and for the MARAD-sponsored US West Coast M5 Barge project. Focusing on ocean and intermodal business development, Borossay has a strong background in rail, truck, and inland operations. While at the Port of Portland, he worked on development of additional cargo accounts interested in establishing distribution centers in the Portland region. His background includes extensive operations experience working for Sea-Land Services Inc., Hanjin Shipping, and Hapag-Lloyd prior to joining the Port of Portland. Borossay has been responsible for direct recruitment of Zim Lines Shipping, China Shipping, Yang Ming, and “K” Line as direct calling carriers at the Port of Portland. Borossay has been the lead at the Port of Portland for four governor trade missions to Asia. Borossay signed new contracts with Westwood Shipping and Gearbulk. |
