Event Description

Stuck outside Vietnam and trying to return to work and home? Trying to bring foreign experts or incoming personnel to Vietnam?

Join our Virtual Flash Business Intelligence Briefing: Foreign Business Travel and Immigration to Vietnam on Thursday, June 4 at 3PM.  Get some clarity on fast-evolving policies, including a reported new requirement for organizations to apply to HCMC DOLISA as early as June 8 for foreigners they wish to bring to Vietnam in the next few months. AmCham Vietnam-HCMC Board Member and Baker & McKenzie Partner and HR and Labor Law expert Nguyen Thuy Hang will brief on the latest developments, offer as much clarity as possible on evolving procedures, and participate in an on-line Q&A session.

In summary, according to the Letter No. 13413, HCMC DOLISA requests employers to send a request enclosing a list of foreigners they wish to bring to HCMC to the HCMC DOLISA no later than June 8, 2020 for HCMC DOLISA to consolidate for the HCMC People’s Committee to review and decide.

Baker & McKenzie can assist companies to draft and submit such written requests to DOLISA, but companies also can handle the submission themselves.  The deadline for the submission is June 8, 2020.
