Event Description
Investments that drive meaningful impact not only generate positive social and environmental outcomes but also create long-term value for businesses, communities, and economies. The urgency of the social and environmental challenges we face makes it imperative that investors allocate capital to impact accurately and efficiently.
Supported by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) IMPACT Programme, Impact Frontiers has been conducting specialised Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) workshops across different countries in Asia to share practical and credible approaches for the integration impact into investments and to build capacity for sustainability reporting in EMDEs. AVPN, as Asia’s largest network of impact funders, plays a role in connecting stakeholders and ensuring that these insights are effectively disseminated across the region.
This workshop will provide investors with a deep dive into Impact Performance Reporting Norms, issued in April last year, which serve as a guiding framework for General Partners (GPs) in reporting impact performance to Limited Partners (LPs).
This workshop aims to advance the conversation on impact measurement and management by offering stakeholders practical perspectives, actionable tools, and tested frameworks to enhance impact reporting and ensure capital is deployed effectively and meaningfully.
The highly interactive session will focus on implementing Impact Performance Reporting Norms for impact-driven investments, and participants will engage in hands-on learning, covering:
- Introduction to Impact Measurement and Management
- Setting impact objectives & aligning strategies
- Using impact data in investment decisions
- Evaluating impact performance & independent verification
- Governance frameworks for accountability
Who Should Attend?
General Partners (GPs), Limited Partners (LPs), impact investors, verification service providers, and fund managers focused on non-listed asset classes and keen to enhance their impact reporting capabilities.
