Event Description
Many AmCham members send Vietnamese team members to the United States for work internships, training, or research. Sometimes the visa process is easy, sometimes it is more difficult. The U.S. offers a type of special visa called the J-1 visa. The J-1, which requires a visa sponsor, can be a great option for people wanting to visit the United States. This type of visa can be easier to get approved, can be less expensive, and can be more useful for companies seeking to develop their workforce. AmCham members are invited to participate in a virtual discussion on the morning of September 17 to learn how companies can work with a J-1 visa sponsor to achieve your workforce development goals. The guest speakers from Cultural Vistas will discuss the benefits of the J-1 visa program, the types of programs available, the requirements for this type of visa, and more.
