With a quarter of a century experience in human capital management, workforce solutions as well as business development management, he has had a long and successful career across countries and organizations.
Simon is currently Country Manager for ManpowerGroup Vietnam, Thailand and Middle East. He formerly held the role of sales and contract management in such companies like SGS and successfully developed call off contracts with Caltex Refinery, Total, Brunei-Shell, Sarawak Shell, Saudi Aramco, ADNOC and Qatar Gas and Unocal, etc.
What makes Simon different to others business executive management is his intensive knowledge and experience in human capital development, solutions as well as understandings of workforce markets and policies making process in many countries. These are practical information sharing which is very valuable to people-centric strategy for business’s sustainable growth.
Beyond the art of human and business solutions, he has been one of the main proponents of the British Chamber of Commerce where he is the Chairman. He also has remarkable vision and contribution to Junior Achievement Thailand, in which he is the Director, with the view to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy.
Nguyen Ha Tuan
Marketplace Services Leader, Global Technology Services
Nguyen Ha Tuan is the Marketplace Services Leader, Global Technology Services, IBM Vietnam. He leads a country practice of sales, solution architects and consultants, to help IBM’s major clients strategize, plan, design and implement technology adoption.
He has close to 20 years of experience in consulting, implementation and management of Software, Cloud, Security and Operations for enterprise clients in banking and finance, consumer products, retail, and manufacturing.
He got the MBA degree from Maastricht School of Management; BA in Computer Science from National University, HCMC University of Polytechnic.
Le Xuan “Lex” Nguyen
Amazon Web Services
Head of Sales
Lex possesses fifteen-year international experience in technology field. His roles vary from business analyst for BlackRock in the US to business development for IBM, Oracle, Red Hat, Microsoft and currently at Amazon Web Services (AWS). He is experienced and well-versed with US, Singapore, Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Myanmar markets respectively.
Majority of his work has been around building and growing customer adoption for large multi-national technology companies in new territory or segment. Lex was the first sales rep for IBM Software Group in Vietnam, built up new business for Red Hat in Western Australia and Vietnam, led Microsoft virtual team in executing its cloud first strategy in Indochina, and currently works as first AWS representative in Vietnam.
He earned a Bachelor degree of Information Systems with minor in Business Administration from Drexel University, Philadelphia USA, and course certificates from INSEAD and Wharton business schools.
