Phong has represented both buyers and sellers, providing comprehensive legal counsel that spans from healthcare providers to investment funds.

Before joining Asia Counsel, Phong was with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer for 8 years and Hogan Lovells for 6 years where he led high-value M&A, project finance and arbitration matters.

Christopher Chew

Christopher Chew joined Hoan My in 2023 as Business Development Director, in order to oversee the Group’s M&A activities. Prior to that, he served as the Project Development Director at FV Hospital, in charge of expansion and heading FV Saigon Clinic operations at Bitexco.

Besides his 6.5 years of experience in Vietnam’s healthcare market, he had worked extensively in the healthcare sector for the past 17 years in Malaysia, Indonesia and Myanmar.

Hong Le obtained bachelor degree in law from University of Law, and bachelor in international trade from University of Foreign Trade. Hong Le got Master in Public Policy, Leadership and Management faculty from University of Fulbright, a NASPAS members with honorary MPP degree.

Hong Le is a seasoned legal director with more than 20 extensive experience years serving as inhouse counsel for top multinational corporations (MNCs): Friesland-Campina, British American Tobacco, Unilever, GSK.
