While the November 3 U.S. elections are wrapping up final vote counts, AmCham’s election season is just beginning!! We expect it to be just as exciting, but far less controversial:).
Join us on Tuesday, November 17 from 6:30-8:30PM for an exclusive AmCham Vietnam Members-only event to meet the candidates for the 2021-2022 AmCham Vietnam-HCMC Board of Governors! Meet our impressive slate of candidates, hear their visions, and network with AmCham member colleagues and friends. No entry-fee to join. A cash bar will be available, with complimentary appetizers sponsored by Sofitel Plaza Saigon. Virtual participation is also available. Advance registration requested – Register NOW!
AmCham’s 18-member volunteer Board of Governors provide critical strategic vision and oversight to AmCham Vietnam – our AmCham team and volunteer Committee and Initiative leaders. We stagger our elections for continuity, so that every year, nine positions are open for 2-year terms. We also have term limits – three consecutive 2-year terms.
This year, we have an especially impressive and diverse slate of 14 candidates, representing a wide range of sectors and areas of expertise. At the event, each candidate will have two minutes to introduce themselves and share their vision and how they would contribute to AmCham Vietnam.
To maximize our support for members to be informed voters, we also will set up a Zoom link for virtual participants, and will upload a video recording after the event for members to watch at their convenience.
