Learn to learn practical tips on networking, practice your networking skills, contribute to an idea board for future WIL events and programming, barter a few hours of your skills and talents for the same from other talented women, and enjoy the company of some of the most dynamic women leaders and future women leaders in Saigon. ![]() Irene Ohler Co-founder, Lightpath Consulting Group Irene founded Lightpath Leadership drawing on her 20+ years experience in leadership development on four continents with leaders from the corporate and government sectors. Irene has been based in Vietnam since 2012 and has since become a sought-after expert for her work to promote women leadership. Irene has pioneered a number of initiatives to inspire women: she co-authored an awarded book on Vietnamese women leaders, BaTrieu’s 21st Century Daughters. Stories of Remarkable Vietnamese Women, and founded the Women’s Storytelling Salon, an inter-cultural and inter-generational events series, in 2014, which runs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Astrid is the vice-chair of Amcham’s Women in Leadership Committee. Her practice as a Psychotherapist has always been influenced by the concept of seeking growth through rethinking and challenging society’s paradigms and doctrines. Astrid is an advocate for both women empowerment and personal agency. ![]() Van Ly Partner & Consultant, Raise Partners Van is a partner at Raise Partners, a new collaborative consulting practice bringing together expertise to share with organizations that contribute to the betterment of humanity. She has 20 years of experience working in both the private sector in branding and communications and the nonprofit sector in fundraising, communications, and program management. In particular, she has extensive experience in nonprofit fundraising and program strategy, strategic marketing and communications planning and delivery, grant writing, corporate social responsibility and citizenship, and donor and stakeholder engagement. Van has a master’s degree in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University in Washington D.C. |
![]() Vice President, International Sales & Foreign Operations, Diversatek Healthcare Jonathan is the Vice President, International Sales & Foreign Operations, of Diversatek Healthcare. AmCham member company, Diversatek Vietnam (formerly Sandhill Scientific and Medovations), is a subsidiary of Diversatek Healthcare. Diversatek opened its Vietnam manufacturing operation in Binh Duong, December 2010, representing a US high-technology investment, and continues to expand. In 2012, Jonathan helped form AmCham’s first Manufacturing Committee. The committee was established to increase value for AmCham’s manufacturing sector members, including the supporting supply chain, by providing networking opportunities and collaborative solutions which cannot be achieved as effectively by individual member companies. Key initiatives included advocacy related to trade facilitation and the annual “Supplier’s Day.” In 2019, Jonathan provided leadership for AmCham’s Healthcare Committee. The Healthcare Committee is a critically important network uniquely representing AmCham companies across all healthcare sectors such as pharma; medical devices; hospitals and clinics; physicians; pharmacies; diagnostics; and supporting services. Jonathan also served on the AmCham Vietnam Board of Governors from 2013-2018. He served as Vice Chair in 2016 and Chairman in both 2017-2018. Additionally, he served on the Vietnam Business Forum Management Board. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of South Carolina and a MBA from the University of Hawaii. |

Mimi has 20 years of nonprofit experience in communications, policy, fundraising, law enforcement training, trafficking and modern slavery prevention in supply chains, program development, and advocacy for organizations including Pacific Links Foundation, VinaCapital Foundation, International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. |
