Event Description
The dynamic landscape of the Vietnam logistics industry is currently driven by the increase of technology integration and digitalization, the growing emphasis on sustainable practices, and the crucial need for supply chain optimization. To help companies navigate Vietnam’s ever-evolving logistics sector, AmCham and FedEx are organizing an event titled “Optimizing Supply Chain Cost: Strategies for Efficiency & Profitability”.
Formerly a mere trend, now evolving to an imperative requirement, a speaker from AmCham will discuss green supply chain and how companies can balance sustainable practices and cost-saving.
With the delivery stage as one of the challenges for the Vietnam supply chain, a speaker from FedEx will shed light on how international express services can help companies increase efficiency and optimize supply chain cost.
The event will also feature a panel of industry experts to discuss the current state and challenges, as well as best practices for supply chain optimization. She currently leads the Sustainable Supply Chain practice at KPMG Vietnam, working closely with clients to navigate the complex requirements of balancing sustainable operations with operational efficiency. |
Sang Tran
Senior Sales Manager, FedEx Vietnam and Cambodia Sang Tran has vast experience in the global logistics and forwarding industry. Throughout his career, Sang worked in different capacity in customer experience, operations and business development. He has worked with many companies and helped them with their global expansion through solutions to navigating the complexed requirement of international shipping and regulations. |
Ee-Hui Tan
Managing Director, FedEx Express, Vietnam and Cambodia Ee-Hui Tan is the Managing Director of the Vietnam and Cambodia Operations of FedEx Express, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies. She leads over 650 team members and is responsible for planning and implementation of corporate strategies and operations in these markets. Ee-Hui started her career with FedEx Malaysia in 2008 as an Engineer. She rose through the ranks by assuming multiple roles in Operations Management in Malaysia and Singapore. Prior to her current role, Ee-Hui was a Senior Manager of Ground Operations in Singapore, overseeing pickup and delivery operations across Singapore. |
Ky Nguyen
CEO/General Director, Cai Mep International Terminal Ky is CEO of Cai Mep International Terminal, a joint venture of Danish APM Maersk Group and VIMC & Saigon Port. Ky spent 15 years in Senior Management of CMIT which is major deep-water container terminal in Cai Mep serving VN-US trade majorly and is the only termal being able to handle 20,000 TEu container vessel in Vietnam. Ky has served 3 years as independent non-executive Board Director of Port of HaiPhong in the Northern Vietnam. Ky is FTU graduate and has Maastricht MBA degree. Later Ky also graduated APMT Magnum Global Leadership Development program. |

Travis Michell
Executive Director, AmCham Vietnam HCMC Mr. Travis has eleven years of experience working in Southeast Asia, helping U.S. businesses thrive. Mr. Travis served as the Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia, where he connected the Royal Government of Cambodia with the private sector, created opportunities for growth and investment, and cultivated ties between the members of the American and Cambodian business community. He also worked as an advisor to Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary General of ASEAN. His professional research background, combined with his work on policy advocacy, public health and community activism, has helped him to promote the development of trade, investment, and human resources in the region. He was selected as one of the top 50 international voices of Cambodia in 2024 by Cambodia Leadership Review. |
