![]() Economist & Senior Lecturer Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management, Fulbright University Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Thanh is a senior lecturer in public policy at the Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management. From 2015 to 2023, Thanh was a senior fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, Harvard Kennedy School. Between 2018 and 2021, he served as a member of the Vietnamese Prime Minister Economic Advisory Council. His research interests are macroeconomic management, cross-ownership in the banking sector, and financing infrastructure development. At the Fulbright School, Thanh teaches courses on Introduction to Public Policy, Appraisal of Public Investment, and Policy Implementation. He also teaches regularly in the Fulbright School’s executive education and participate in policy dialogues with public sector agencies in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Thanh earned a BA (Hons) in economics from Delhi University, an MSc in economics and finance from the University of Warwick, and an MPA from Harvard University. |
![]() CEO/General Director, Cai Mep International Terminal Ky is CEO of Cai Mep International Terminal, a joint venture of Danish APM Maersk Group and VIMC & Saigon Port. Ky spent 15 years in Senior Management of CMIT which is major deep-water container terminal in Cai Mep serving VN-US trade majorly and is the only termal being able to handle 20,000 TEu container vessel in Vietnam. Ky has served 3 years as independent non-executive Board Director of Port of HaiPhong in the Northern Vietnam. Ky is FTU graduate and has Maastricht MBA degree. Later Ky also graduated APMT Magnum Global Leadership Development program. |

She is based in Vietnam and is the current ASEAN Regional Head for the Group running the sourcing and operations divisions, she has had a birds eye view on DFI in Manufacturing that has been pouring into Vietnam these past years. ![]() Vice President & Managing Director Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam Anil Viswanathan is Vice President and Managing Director of Mondelez Kinh Do Vietnam. Anil is responsible for driving the Vietnam business while also being part of the SEA Leadership team. He has assumed this position from Sep 1, 2022. In the past 2 years, Anil has taken forward the Mondelez 2030 strategy in the country with Mondelez receiving external recognition in multiple forums for excellence in Growth, Marketing, Operations, Sustainability and Culture. Anil has been an active member representing Mondelez in AmCham, PRO, USABC VN, MMA and other executive networks. Prior to this, Anil was the CMO at Mondelez India Foods Private Ltd. Anil was a part of the India BU Leadership Team and was responsible to drive a consolidated Snacking strategy with holistic management of all marketing levers, that included Insights, Analytics, Equity, Innovation and Activation, in line with Mondelez International’s “Local first, but not Local only”; approach to business. Anil also led the Consumer Digital practice for the business where he worked closely with the BU & Global technology teams in driving the digital transformation agenda for the business. In these years, Anil drove marketing and creative excellence with his teams & partner networks to create some of the most popular brand campaigns that won at multiple platforms like Effies India, Effies APAC, D&AD, One Show, MMA Smarties, IBLA etc. Most prominently at Cannes 2022 where the work on Cadbury Celebrations won India’s first ever Titanium Cannes Lion along with multiple other Cannes Lions. For his work, Anil has received the CMO of the year award in India at several ad forums. Anil joined Mondelez India in May 2000 as a management trainee and has spent more than two decades in the company, across a variety of roles including Sales, Brand & Category marketing, Strategy and New Business Development. Over the last 20+ years, he has acquired several functional and shaping experiences across categories (Chocolates, Biscuits), functions (Sales, Marketing & Strategy) and geographies before returning to India in 2017. Anil was also a part of the Global Chocolate Team driving chocolate innovation based out of Zurich, Switzerland. Anil holds an MBA in Marketing & Finance from IIM, Calcutta and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT, Madras. He is married to Sangeetha, who works in the Non-Profit sector and they have a 15-year-old daughter, Suhasini. |

Binh contributes several thought leadership efforts at AmCham, including ESG Committee, Capital Market and Financial Services Committee, and Sustainable Finance initiatives. She is also a Fellow at the Australia Vietnam Policy Institute and serves as a valued member of the RMIT Alumni Advisory Board. Over the past 16 years, Binh has advised 250+ prominent multinational and Vietnamese companies in 120+ projects, across 15+ countries and 10+ industries, with an accumulated value of USD4.5+ billion. She has successfully led and delivered M&A transactions, fundraising initiatives, strategic projects, valuation exercises, and government relations/ advocacy, building a unique and distinguished track record in these fields. Her work emphasizes value creation and sustainable growth, combining these areas for optimal outcomes. She holds an MBA from Indiana University and Purdue University Fort Wayne (USA), where she received a full-ride scholarship and served as a Graduate Assistant. She also graduated with Distinction from RMIT University (Vietnam) with a Bachelor of Commerce. Prior to founding ASART, Binh held notable roles at KPMG and Lafarge. |

With nearly 20 years of professional experience at one of the “Big 4” and Forvis Mazars, Minh has developed into one of the leading Tax advisors in the Vietnamese market, with class leading skills particularly in International Taxation, Transfer Pricing, and International Trade. His projects include market entry services, multinational group transaction restructuring, M&A, tax compliance and advisory, transfer pricing review and documentation, tax audit assistance for clients, and customs review and compliance. Minh is Vice – Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), Executive Committee Member of the Central and Eastern European Chamber of Commerce (CEEC), Board Member of the EU-Vietnam Business Council, where he involves in supporting European companies doing business in Vietnam via various advocacy activities toward Vietnamese Government agencies, and to promote business cooperation between Vietnam and European countries. Minh is currently a member of the Asia-Pacific Committee of Praxity Alliance (one of the largest global Alliances of accounting firms in the world), in charge of regional transfer pricing engagements, and promotion of Praxity firms in the region. Minh is now Vice – Chairman of Committee No. 1 on Policy Reform of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Council on Administrative Procedures Reform (ACAPR). |
