Tina Tran Neville was born in Soc Trang, Vietnam and went to the United States when she was two years old. She grew up in Oklahoma, attended the University of Tulsa and Yale University for graduate school, then joined the U.S. Foreign Service where she worked as a diplomat in Vietnam, Iraq, Pakistan, and Washington DC. After her diplomatic career, Tina became a teacher and afterwards an education entrepreneur with her first company Transcend Academy, which has supported over 20,000 students in U.S. university preparation and was named the Best Education Company in Washington DC for the past two years. In 2019, Tina launched Lana Learn, a corporate English training organization for multinational companies with global teams. Lana Learn’s initial market is Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and will soon be expanding to the rest of Southeast Asia. Tina participated in the May 2019 Global Entrepreneurship Summit in the Netherlands and in September 2019 met with U.S. Senators to promote Women in Business issues. She has received numerous business and government awards, including the U.S Department of State’s Superior and Meritorious Honor Awards, International Business Stevie Gold Award, and Seattle’s “40 Under 40” Business Leaders. |

Ms. Linh Thai has over 20 years of experience in finance, marketing, and operations. Her prior roles include CEO of Vingroup Ventures, a corporate venture capital fund; Head of Strategy and Operations at VinaCapital, one of the leading asset managers in Vietnam; and Director of Investments at DFJ VinaCapital, one of Vietnam’s first venture capital funds. Linh is also a “shark” on the Vietnamese version of Shark Tank.
Linh graduated with honors from the University of Southern California and holds an MBA from The Wharton School. Linh grew up in Los Angeles, CA and has called Ho Chi Minh City home for the past 12 years. She is a mother to two daughters ages 4 years and 4 months. |

Mr. Ken D. Duong, Esq., MBA started his professional career in 2009 after completing all his required formal, institutional education. That same year, Mr. Duong co-founded an international law firm with offices in Orange County, California, U.S.A. and Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam focused on U.S.-Vietnam bi-lateral trade, including corporate/business law, business taxation, international trade, intellectual property, and business immigration matters. His focus areas and experience are in international corporate/business law, taxation, and business immigration mainly focused on South East Asia.
Throughout the years, Mr. Duong has represented over 150 companies, including international companies from 4 continents, over 15 countries, and in many different industries, such as manufacturing, technology, food processing/distribution, media and television entertainment, sports, finance, professional services, and many others. However, his dominant expertise would be U.S.-Vietnam bi-lateral trade and economic relations, including having lived, worked, and studied extensively in both the United States and Vietnam while having fully bi-lingual and bi-cultural fluency in Vietnamese and English. Moreover, he has organized over 40 U.S.-Vietnam and vice-versa business trade missions to increase bi-lateral trade and relations between the two countries.
With community engagement, Mr. Duong has served as board of directors and chair positions on chambers of commerce, non-profit or not-for-profit organizations, educational board foundations, trade associations, government industry and focus groups, and other community building organizations.
Mr. Duong lived in the U.S. since 1986 and received his Bachelors of Arts in Economics/International Area Studies, minor in Spanish, and specialization in computing from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and his joint graduate degree – Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A.) and Doctor of Jurisprudence (J.D.) – from Golden Gate University School of Law and School of Business in San Francisco, California, U.S.A.
Aside from his professional career, Mr. Duong has traveled to, lived in, or worked in over 25 countries, is an adamant cyclist and swimmer, loves outdoor adventure activities, is an avid reader and is fluent in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. |
