Top Priorities for 2022
- Serve as a key facilitator for both U.S. mission and stakeholders including people, government, and businesses to strengthen healthcare systems and expand access to healthcare in Vietnam
- Promote increased use of digital health to improve access to affordable, quality care particulary at the primarly level
- Partner proactively to shape healthcare policy for the benefit of the people in Vietnam
- Carryout and highlight CSR programs
- Act as a resource to share information, expertise, and best practices on health and wellness across members and the broader community

Luke Treloar, Partner, Head of Strategy Group, and National Head of Healthcare and Life Science, KPMG Vietnam
Luke is a career KPMG strategy consultant with extensive Emerging and Frontier Market experience. Throughout his consulting career, he has been responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-profile, profitable, and mission-critical solutions for global Fortune 500 clients. This has included market entry and expansion strategies, acquisition target analysis, operational turnarounds, regulatory and risk management, restructurings, and market exits. Luke is the co-chair of the AmCham Healthcare Committee, the Partner in Charge of Strategy Consulting for KPMG Vietnam and Cambodia, and runs the firm’s Healthcare and Life Sciences practice.
Jennifer Cox, Managing Director, MSD Vietnam
Since March of 2021, Jen has served as the Managing Director for MSD Vietnam where she has supported the team in launching new products and indications, transforming the business model, and advancing our ways of working. Jen is passionate about continuing to build on MSD Vietnam’s progress toward realizing the mission of making a difference to the lives of Vietnamese people. Jennifer Cox has nearly 15 years of diverse industry experience spanning global to local commercial roles, across developed and emerging markets.
Jen has held a variety of local and global roles across sales, marketing, and strategy in key therapeutic areas including Oncology, Hospital Acute Care, and Vaccines. Prior to her current role, she led the Global Vaccines Strategy team, working closely with teams across MMD, MRL, HH, Policy, and GSF to drive our company’s long-term vaccines strategy. She also spent 2020 leading our enterprise-wide coordination efforts across four COVID-19 programs—driving integration, ensuring a consistent and comprehensive external engagement plan, and collaborating across all levels of the company to support acceleration.
Jen spent the first part of her career in late state development for vaccines and biologics supporting commercialization efforts including process characterization, scale-up, and technology transfer activities across many of our lab and plants sites in North America and Europe.
As a leader and General Management Acceleration Program (GMAP) alumna, Jen is passionate about sponsoring early talent and creating diverse and inclusive teams. She has hosted dozens of participants from the Academic Development Program (ADP), Commercial Development Program (CDP), as well as GMAP, and serves on the GMAP Line Advisory Board.
Jen holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Biological Systems Engineering from Iowa State University, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Lan Dam, Director, External Affairs, MSD Vietnam
Lan Dam has over 22 years of experience in healthcare industry with passion and dedication on improving the quality of Vietnamese people’s health. She has been involved in many healthcare projects/programs and policy shaping aiming to increase patient access to new innovative treatments in different organizations.
In MSD, she leads Policy, Market Access and Communications department which bringing her opportunities to pursue her commitment and contribution to the healthcare mission in Vietnam, as well as to help the innovative pharmaceutical industry maintains sustainable business and continued investments. She also has a passion on promoting sustainability – “meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs”.
Lan Dam holds a Medical Doctor degree from Hanoi Medical University, Doctor of Business Administration from American Heritage University of Southern California and Master of Science (Sustainability Leadership) from University of Cambridge, the U.K.
Lan Dam is a new member of Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce, HCM chapter in Vietnam and serves as Board liaison of its Healthcare Committee.
