Serve as information conduit and sharing for international healthcare organizations
Study and advise members of regulations of Departments (DoH) and Ministry of Health (MoH), as well as Ministry of Planning and Development (MPI)
Unify approach and message to DoH, MoH, MPI
Provide a liaison with DoH, MoH, MPI for dialog on healthcare issues, especially relating to international firms

Chris Blank, Founder and CEO of Pharmacity Vietnam
Chris Blank is an American entrepreneur and businessman, experienced in the fields of Finance, Retail Pharmacy and Data Science Technology. He has a professional proficiency in the Vietnamese language.
He is the Founder and CEO of Pharmacity, Vietnam’s largest retail pharmacy chain, since 2011. Pharmacity’s vision is to be the most convenient pharmacy chain where you can fully entrust your health and wellness in Vietnam.
Chris Blank spent nearly 10 years in the financial services industry, holding several senior managerial positions, including a key role in the development of the largest securities trading and brokerage firm by market share in Vietnam, before establishing Pharmacity.
Over 7 years of development, Pharmacity has been a pioneer in the modern retail pharmacy space of Vietnam. With his strong leadership and passion, the company has been rapidly expanding throughout Ho Chi Minh City, and now the southern economic region, with plans to rollout nation-wide soon. Pharmacity pharmacies are becoming the local consumer favorite due to its strong value proposition, satisfying customers through its commitment to authentic products with clear origins, convenience, and an attractive assortment of products on offer.
Chris Blank has been the chair of AmCham Healthcare Committee since 1 Dec 2018 until the next 2020 Committee Board election. The Committee represents for more than 70 members of the AmCham Vietnam Healthcare Network. Chris Blank shall be responsible to lead the Committee to fulfill its vision which is using the resources available through the Chamber, other international business organizations, and the respective member companies to define and advocate for improvements in the delivery and regulation of healthcare to build an international standard system in Vietnam.
Chris Blank holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, and a Doctorate in Pharmacy degrees from The University of Houston since 2006. His leadership skills have been strengthened over the years through joining personal improvement courses held by the Landmark Forum, and many executive leadership training courses held by Landmark’s parent company the Vanto Group.
Jonathan Moreno, General Director, Diversatek Vietnam
Jonathan is the General Director of Diversatek Vietnam (formerly Sandhill Scientific and Medovations), a member of the Diversatek group of medical technology companies. Diversatek opened its Vietnam manufacturing operation in Binh Duong, December 2010, representing a US high-technology investment, and continues to expand.
In 2012, Jonathan helped form AmCham’s first Manufacturing Committee. The committee was established to increase value for AmCham’s manufacturing sector members, including the supporting supply chain, by providing networking opportunities and collaborative solutions which cannot be achieved as effectively by individual member companies. Key initiatives included advocacy related to trade facilitation and the annual “Supplier’s Day.”
Currently, Jonathan provides leadership for AmCham’s Healthcare Committee. The Healthcare Committee is a critically important network uniquely representing AmCham companies across all healthcare sectors such as pharma; medical devices; hospitals and clinics; physicians; pharmacies; diagnostics; and supporting services.
Jonathan also served on the AMCHAM HCMC Board of Governors from 2013-2018. He served as Vice Chair in 2016 and Chairman in both 2017-2018. Additionally, he served on the Vietnam Business Forum Management Board.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of South Carolina and a MBA from the University of Hawaii.
