Vote now and make your vote count! We are pleased to share that on December 10th, the Boards of both the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City chapters of AmCham Vietnam voted unanimously to approve a new unified Charter — the result of nearly a year of hard work and collaboration — and to present it to the full membership for final approval.
If adopted, this Charter would transition AmCham Vietnam from a two-chapter structure to a single, unified national chamber governed by one National Board. This new structure reflects the critical, national nature of our membership and operations, and is designed to strengthen AmCham’s voice, improve coordination, reduce redundancy, and ensure equal access to Chamber activities and representation across the country.
To support this shift, both boards have also agreed on a joint transition plan that, if the charter is approved, will ensure full implementation of the new governance model by mid-2026, while maintaining presence and staffing in both Hanoi and HCMC.
We will hold an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) online on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at which time we will announce the results of the vote.
We encourage all members to review the proposed Charter , participate in the EGM if able, and cast your vote. Online voting for our new AmCham Vietnam Charter is open now through 11:59 PM Tuesday, January 13th, 2026.
