Vision for AmCham
I have been active in AmCham since 2001 as a member of Board of Governors with leading the development of the AmCham Direct Selling Committee and Food and Beverages Committee in 2013. As the current Vice Chair of Food and Beverages Committee, I established the strong collaboration and support for Vietnamese government regarding to harmonization of the respective regulatory landscape with international standards in Vietnam. Going beyond business advocacy, I promoted the mission of social contribution through AmCham CSR Committee with featured scholarship programs for young Vietnamese generations.
In 2016 term, as the Chair of AmCham Vietnam, I earned great supports from Board of Governors for building up signature business events and implementing strategic directions in AmCham to improve business conditions so as to promote trade and investment between Vietnam and the United States.
Coming back as a candidate for AmCham Board of Governors, I will strengthen the coalition of AmCham and its stakeholders to develop a more transparent investment environment through my experience with AmCham and American business interests. While American businesses continue to make their significant contribution in economic and social development in Vietnam, AmCham shall be more proactive to play a role promoting ‘global brands, local stand’ among American business community. I will drive AmCham’s values to be part of solutions and initiatives: from supporting local small- and medium-sized businesses to become qualified in global value chain to promoting a responsible business community in responding national issues advocating for level-field playing in an integrated business environment.
Above all, serving as a member of AmCham Board of Governors Ha Noi Chapter, I gain the best of both worlds chance to bridge and integrate Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi Chapters for AmCham Vietnam: One Vision, One Mission, and One Strategy.
