Membership is on a 12-month rolling basis.
There is an application fee of 2,650,000 VND
You only need to pay this one-time application fee when your application is successful. This fee is paid in addition to your annual dues. Not applied to Young/Senior Professional Membership types, or applicants in 2021 based in Da Nang or Central Vietnam.
Your company can upgrade to ‘Premium Package’ at any time to enjoy exclusive benefits.
Additional Individual: VND 3,900,000
For an additional individual of a Company/Associate Member other than the five representatives.
Non-resident: VND 19,000,000
For any party that is qualified for Company Membership but not resident in Vietnam.
(*) Additional Condition: Individuals that are not employed by for-profit businesses or employed by non-American companies and do not hold management positions.
MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
AmCham Vietnam was licensed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City on September 19, 1998 as an “international business association” on the basis of the Decree of the Government Promulgating the Regulations on the Establishment of International Business Associations in Vietnam, Decree No. 8/1998/ND-CP, 22 Jan 98. According to the decree and AmCham’s Charter, companies must be legally established in Vietnam, including representative offices, foreign-invested enterprises, or branch offices and must submit their business licenses demonstrating their status as part of the Membership Application. Membership applicants must submit the following items:
- AmCham Vietnam – HCMC & Danang Membership Application Form (DOCX | PDF)
- Copy of ID page of Passport (to show citizenship)
- Copy of Business License, Representative Office License, FDI License, or Branch Office License indicating that the applicant is legally established in Vietnam
- Copy of contract or letter proving that the applicant is working for non-profit organization (If apply for Individual Membership)
