Note: The proposals for reform of administrative procedures in Resolution 25/NQ-CP, Jun 2, 2010 do address many of the issues raised by AmCham members; however, while in some areas the proposals suggested by Am Cham members have been adopted fully, in other cases the response may not be what was hoped for and may in some cases even be counterproductive, such as with the elimination of the three month exemption period for Work Permits. Working Group meetings will be called in various fields in the weeks ahead to finalize these proposals and then the Ministries will decide what to do in terms of abolishing or amending the old administrative procedures.
