Semillon and Seafood at the Park Hyatt SaigonPark Hyatt Saigon is once again offering the delightful Semillon and Seafood Barbecue at the poolside every Friday from 8 January 2010. Enjoy an authentic combination of the Hunter Valley’s best-loved white wine, Semillon, and the freshest, premium quality local and imported seafood, including Fine de Claire Oysters, Blue Swimmer Crabs, Ocean Trout Sashimi, Sole Fillet with Caviar Beurre Blanc; King Prawns, Garlic Chilli; and Scallops on Lemongrass.

Semillon is a thin-skinned white grape that ripens early and is used primarily in Bordeaux, France. As of 1998, there were 30,000 acres of Semillon planted in Bordeaux. Semillon was brought to Australia in the early 1800s and is currently well known there, particularly in the Hunter Valley. Semillon can be drunk young for its fresher flavours or allowed to age so that the more mellow flavours come through. It should be drunk within five years and served at around 50F. It goes well with seafood and fish, from oysters, clams and scallops to salmon.
Sip a glass of chilled Semillon wine and graze the fresh seafood barbecue amidst a beautifully landscaped tropical garden and you will be transported to a heavenly start into the weekend.

These special Friday dinners are priced at VND 999,000++ per person, including free flowing Semillon. Reservations are recommended.
