Chef Antioine comes to us from Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur and will feature his innovative cuisine at Signature Level 23 from Sep 8-13, 2009.
This French-Spanish chef is famous for the wonderful things he does with fine beef. At Signature restaurant he will showcase his expertise especially with his melt-in-the-mouth red meat courses. You will find the fusion element of his work interesting and his presentation certainly a feast for the eyes.
Born in Bordeaux, France, Chef Antoine has gained his wealth of 30 years experience in culinary knowledge through his travels to Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Thailand, Africa and Turkey. He has also enjoyed a string of awards success, most recently during the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards 2007. His second win in a row and a first for an Executive Chef, Chef Antoine was elated when he defeated 14 other nominees to win “Executive Chef of the Year.”
Chef Antoine joined Le Méridien Kuala Lumpur as Executive Chef in 2009. Accolades include “Most Outstanding Culinary Team 2005/2006.” by Food Hotel Malaysia; “Best Asian Cuisine 2005/2006,” by Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards; Overall winners of the Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) Black Box Challenge 2007; and “Most Outstanding Hotel Team & Overall Champion,” by Culinaire Malaysia 2007.
