Statement of Interest/Vision
AmCham plays a valuable part in Vietnam’s business community. I have had the privilege to see AmCham’s impact particularly in advocacy work. Our consistent, constructive participation in and commitment to legal change in Vietnam through committees, the Advocacy Panel, and support of the Vietnam Business Forum have given our members a voice in the decisions that impact our business.
As an AmCham Board member I would prioritize knowledge sharing on legal issues at the committee level, as well as deeper engagement in advocacy initiatives and continued involvement in policy and regulatory discussions.
Fourteen years in Vietnam, and many years of service on AmCham’s Legal Committee and Advocacy Panel, have given me the benefit of cultural and professional experience and views on both Vietnamese and foreign business needs, and I look forward to the opportunity to contribute my experience to the Board.
