Vietnam publishes book on land border with China

Vietnam introduced to the public a book detailing its land border with China for the first time in Hanoi on January 25.

The book was jointly compiled by the Ministry of Information and Communication’s Foreign News Service Department, the Foreign Ministry’s National Border Committee, and the Vietnam Association of History Science, said Deputy Information and Communication Minister Do Quy Doan.

It provides relatively complete, comprehensive and accurate details on the land border between Vietnam and China through historical phases as well as the line which was newly established in written documents, on maps and in the field, clearly and specifically, in conformity with international law.
