Vietnam’s Most Productive Companies 2011 Profiles International Vietnam has released the report “Vietnam’s Most Productive Companies 2011,” presenting findings of their study on the productivity of over 600 publicly traded companies in Vietnam. The “Vietnam’s Most Productive Companies 2011” study focuses specifically on labour productivity, defined as revenue produced per full-time employee or full-time employee equivalent of Vietnam-based companies.

Vietnam More Vulnerable to World Slump Than Neighbors, HSBC Says The spillover risks through the trade and finance sectors in Vietnam are aggravated by large domestic and external imbalances.

Vietnam receives its largest container ship call CMA CGM’s Laperhouse, with nearly 14,000 TEU (20-foot equivalent units of capacity), called at the Cai Mep International Terminal, a joint venture between Saigon Port, Vietnam National Shipping, and APM Terminals.

World Bank Economic Update: Vietnam Stabilization gains remain fragile and any premature loosening of policy will risk repeating the recent pattern of recurring instability. Vigorous implementation of fiscal consolidation and structural elements of Resolution 11, including restructuring and reform of the state enterprise sector and the financial sector should help Vietnam return to a more sustainable macroeconomic environment while laying the foundations for greater efficiency and productivity to drive medium and longer term growth. But undertaking these deep, structural reforms will require strong leadership, careful implementation, support from development partners and foreign investors, and some short-term pains.

They have been involved in some of the largest initial public offerings in recent years and remain the controlling owners of many major firms listed on Chinese and foreign stock exchanges.
