Italian executive extradited to U.S. to face bribery charges under FCPA The former executive with Control Components Inc. (CCI) is accused of having his employees make about 750,000 U.S. dollars in bribes to state-owned companies abroad and about 380,000 dollars in bribes to private companies. He served as vice president and head of sales for Europe, Africa and the Middle East from 2001 through 2007 for the Southern California company.
U.S. anti-bribery probes will target mid- and senior-level executives Trends in the DOJ FCPA enforcement include targeting certain types of individuals for FCPA-related prosecution, among them, mid to high-level executives, third party contractors, and in some cases, the actual foreign officials who accepted the bribes.
