There are no active tropical storms approaching Vietnam in the NW Pacific as of Nov 21, 2011. May-Nov is “Typhoon Season.” On average, there are 27 typhoons each season. This year, only 5 of the 34 tropical storms in the 2011 NW Pacific Typhoon Season have landed in Vietnam to date.
