AmCham “Giving Thanks” Dinner – An Evening to Celebrate Excellence in Community Impact!
Join us in expressing gratitude for the blessings we enjoy in Vietnam and celebrating Thanksgiving traditions with family, friends, and colleagues. Thanksgiving is a time for Americans to come together in November to give thanks for the year’s harvest and good fortune. AmCham Vietnam – HCMC is proud to host our Annual Giving Thanks Dinner on November 20, 2025, where we’ll gather to reflect, celebrate, and give back.

2025 AMCHAM HCMC ESG IMPACT SHOWCASE & AWARDS
AmCham in HCMC is seeking applications from AmCham members for our 2025 ESG Impact Showcase and Awards, which will be part of our annual Giving Thanks Dinner on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The deadline to apply is Friday, October 31, 2025 (by 5:00 pm).
Many among AmCham HCMC Chapter’s 550+ members have started remarkable journeys towards sustainability. These members are integrating ESG principles into their long-term business strategies, thereby nurturing an ecosystem for responsible business in Vietnam. The ESG Showcase and Awards program honors and recognizes their excellence. It celebrates AmCham members’ contributions to sustainable development in Vietnam.
What’s New in 2025 – Revised categories!
We have revised our showcase and awards categories:
- Environment/Climate Impact
- Social Impact
- (new) Tech Innovation in ESG: This category looks to celebrate novel and impactful applications of technology (example: AI, IoT, data analytics, cloud computing) to solve specific environmental, social or governance challenges, enhance sustainability performance or improve ESG data transparency. Nominations for this category must be submitted by AmCham members; however, the nominees themselves do not need to be members.
Similar to previous years, all qualified applicants will receive a certificate of recognition and be included in Giving Thanks Dinner program booklet, along with a brief description of each recognized company or organization and project.
In addition, select nominees will be honored with ESG Impact Awards for outstanding achievement.

ESG IMPACT CATEGORIES
| In this year’s application, member companies and organizations will be asked to select which category they would like to apply for recognition. Below is a brief description of the categories for reference.
Category 1. Environmental / Climate Impact Recognition will be given to member companies or organizations with projects / initiatives implemented in Vietnam that have demonstrated significant and measurable environmental impact and/or help address climate change mitigation or adaptation across their value chain and/or in the communities where they work.
Category 2. Social Impact Recognition will be given to member companies and organizations with projects / initiatives that significantly improve the wellbeing and development of employees and/or local communities where they work, or represent significant long-term community investment.
Category 3. Tech Innovation in ESG This is a new category! For this category, we are willing to recognize non-AmCham member companies that are nominated by AmCham members. Recognition will be given to companies and organizations that have launched novel and impactful applications of technology (example: AI, IoT, data analytics, cloud computing) to solve specific environmental, social or governance challenges, enhance sustainability performance or improve ESG data transparency. |
