Tran Minh Hoang (Mr.)
Head of Research, VCBS Research Department
As Head of Research, Mr. Tran Minh Hoang is responsible for a team of 25 analysts, which do Top-down research covered Macroeconomic, Industry , Bond market and Equity market. Mr. Hoang has more than 15 years of experience in the financial industry, particularly in the macro and banking sectors. He has specialized knowledge varied from science and technology to economics. He possesses extensive network of relationships with State legislative and executive bodies and chief executives of top firms. Mr. Hoang currently holds a key position in the Investment Committee of VCBS.
From the start of his career at VCBS in 2010, Mr. Hoang has gained trust and recognition from clients and the company. Starting as a Senior analyst covering Economic in 2013, he was promoted to Chief Economist in 2015 and to Head of Research in 2017. Deep market knowledge coupled with excellent analytic skill has enabled Mr. Hoang to provide high-quality analysis of macroeconomics factors and the economy.
Mr. Hoang received an engineering degree from Hanoi University of Technology and a Master of Finance degree (MSc) in La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia.
