The AmCham ICT Committee Leaders will have a discussion on the key provisions of the Draft Decree of the Cybersecurity Law and their impact on the business in Vietnam. The scope of application of the Cybersecurity Law and this upcoming Decree is very broad, including OTT services, e-commerce services, financial and banking services, and other services of streaming/downloading content from the Internet. Applicable enterprises will be required to store data and set up a branch/representative in Vietnam. This is expected to have a huge impact on the current way of doing business and the digital economy of Vietnam.
