Statement of Interest
I’ve been active in AmCham in HCMC for many years, especially through my leadership of the ESG Committee, leveraging member interests to build partnerships that support the sustainable, inclusive development of Vietnam with government, private sector, and international NGO stakeholders. I believe these efforts serve our mutually beneficial interests in promoting trade and commerce and advancing the US-Vietnam relationship.
I can see our chamber’s potential in serving members who represent American business, Vietnamese corporates, SMEs, startups, and all other partners such as nonprofits, education and research institutions in Vietnam.
After serving as an interim Board member in the last six months, I would like to continue to use my experience in good governance and strategic impact and serve on the Board of Governors to further advance what AmCham in HCMC can be and work towards the merger with AmCham in Hanoi to work as one voice for our membership.
